Governors Welcome
Welcome I-I District Members and Guests,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our website and the 2009-2010 year. On here you will find many valuable resources for your clubs including information on club positions, district officers’ newsletters and much more.
There is a lot in store this coming year. Join us at the Streator Baptist Camp for another great Leadership Training Conference (LTC) in October as we get to know one another and learn about becoming a leader. By far, Holiday Embrace is the biggest success that the I-I has had. This year, the event will once again be taking place at the DoubleTree Hotel in Oak Brook, Illinois. I hope that you all will join us on January 9th, 2010 as we hold this dinner and dance benefit for Our Finest Project: The Spastic Paralysis Research Foundation. We will conclude the year at our 51st annual District Convention in February where there will be workshops, awards and the election of the next year’s officers.
The theme I have chosen for this year is “Take a Ride on the Service Safari”. It is my challenge to each of you that you will help us reach our goal for community service by donating 24 hours of your time over the course of the year. With each person completing just one day of service, we really can make a difference in the lives and communities of those around us.
I wish all of you the best of luck with your clubs this year. And remember, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact anyone of the I-I District Board.

Credit card and handling charges may apply to any refunds.
